Thank You Mr. Chair,

India thanks the Secretariat for the detailed annual report on human resources of the organization. The handbook on WIPO workforce is also quite informative and a useful reference document.

2. India appreciates the Secretariat for its efforts towards maintaining a gender balance and proportional geographical distribution of workforce in the organization. However, we believe, that there is a lot of work still needed to be done by the Secretariat to narrow the gaps in geographical distribution in human resources in the organization.

3. We are positive that the Secretariat will work towards further narrowing of this gap.
