Mr. Vice-President,

India warmly welcomes the delegation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for the adoption of the report of the Working Group on its 3rd Universal Periodic Review that was held on 03 November, 2021. 

  1. 2.The review saw substantive participation with 53 delegations taking the floor and making a total of 156 recommendations.
  1. 3.India appreciates that as many as 81 recommendations have been accepted by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, including 4 recommendations made by us. We also appreciate the constructive engagement by the delegation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during the entire review, which reflects the strong commitment Saint Vincent and the Grenadines attaches to the UPR process. 
  1. 4.We congratulate Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for a successful review and wish them all the success in their efforts for implementing the accepted recommendations.
